RES 16-014RESOLUTIONNO.16-014ARESOLUTIONestablishingatwo-hourparkinglimitonCamaspublicschooldaysfortheperiodof7:00a.m.to3:00p.m.forallpublicstreetsintheWaterleafSubdivision.WHEREASCMC10.08.010authorizestheCityCounciltoimposeparkingtimelimitsforcertaindesignatedstreetsandlocationswithintheCity,andWHEREAStheCamasSchoolDistrictisintheprocessofconstructinga191spaceparkinglottoaccommodatemoreonsitestudentparkingandalleviateoffcampusparkingonresidentialpublicstreetsbyCamasHighSchoolStudents,andWHEREAStheCitysolicitedcommentsfromtheneighborhoodresidentsnearCamasHighSchoolregardingtheremovalofallexistingtwohourparkinglimitsonschooldaysfrom7:00AMto3:00PMindesignatedresidentialareasnearCamasHighSchool,andWHEREAStheCityCouncilconsideredwrittenandoralcommentsreceivedbysaidresidents,andWHEREAStheclearmajorityoftheresidentsinthecurrentareasofthetwohourparkinglimitonschooldaysfrom7:00a.m.to3:00p.m.areinfavorofretainingsaidparkinglimit,andWHEREAStheclearmajorityoftheresidentsintheWaterleafSubdivisionareinfavorofimpositionofatwo-hourparkinglimitonschooldaysfrom7:00a.m.to3:00p.m.intheWaterleafSubdivision,andWHEREAStheCityCouncilfindsthatimpositionofsaidparkinglimitwithintheWaterleafSubdivisionwillpresentlypromotethegeneralwelfareandsafetyofitsresidents,andWHEREAStheCityCouncilfindsthatsaidparkinglimitsshouldbereviewedandreaddressedwithinoneyearofadoptionofthisresolution,andNOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHECOUNCILOFTHECITYOFCAMASASFOLLOWS:SectionIParkingshallbelimitedtotwohoursfortheperiodbetween7:00a.m.to3:00p.m.onCamaspubicschooldaysonthefollowingpublicstreets:•NEGarfieldStreetfromNE34thAvenuetoNE36thAvenue.•NEGarfieldCourtfromNE36thAvenuenorthtothedeadend.•NEHayesStreetfromNE34thAvenuetoNE36thAvenue.•NEloneStreetfromNE35thAvenuetoNE38thAvenue.1
