RES 15-004RESOLUTIONNO.15-004ARESOLUTIONapprovingaDevelopmentAgreementbetweentheCityofCamasandTheLoftsatCamasMeadowsLLCandVanportManufacturing,Inc.WHEREAS,TheLoftsatCamasMeadowsLLCandVanportManufacturing,Inc.,aretheownersofcertainrealpropertylocatedwithintheCityofCamas;andWHEREAS,thepartieshavenegotiatedaDevelopmentAgreementrelatingtosaidproperty;andWHEREAS,theDevelopmentAgreementsetsforthcertaindevelopmentstandardsthatwillgovernthedevelopmentofthepropertyandsetsforththeprocedureforthesubmissionofdevelopmentapplicationsconsistentwiththesubsequentadoptionbytheCityofadditionalplanning;andWHEREAS,theCityCouncilhasconductedapublichearingontheproposedDevelopmentAgreementonJune15,2015,atwhichtimeitconsideredtestimonyfromallinterestedparties;andWHEREAS,theCityCouncilfindsthattheagreementhasbeenreviewedbytheDirectorofCommunityDevelopmentandhasbeenfoundtomeetapplicableplanningrequirements;andWHEREAS,theCityCouncildesirestoapprovetheDevelopmentAgreement;NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHECOUNCILOFTHECITYOFCAMASASFOLLOWS:IThatcertainDevelopmentAgreementbetweentheCityofCamasandTheLoftsatCamasMeadowsLLCandVanportManufacturing,Inc.,relatingtocertainrealpropertylocatedwithintheCity'smunicipalboundaryisherebyapproved,andtheMayorisauthorizedandinstructedtosigntheagreementonbehalfoftheCity.
