RES 1254RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION adopting the Boulder Creek and Jones Creek Watershed Forest Management Plan. WHEREAS,the City of Camas Boulder Creek and Jones Creek Watershed consists of approximately 1 ,700 acres of mature forest land that is used by the City to collect water for municipal purposes;and WHEREAS,the City retained AKS Engineering &Forestry to prepare a Watershed Forest Management Plan for the Boulder Creek and Jones Creek Watershed ;and WHEREAS,the plan was completed in May of 2012,and was thereafter presented at the July 16,2012 City Council Workshop;and WHEREAS,Community Director Phil Bourquin ,as the responsible official ,issued a SEPA Determination of Non Significance on October 23,2012;and WHEREAS,the SEPA comment period expired November 6,2012,and two comments were received ;and WHEREAS,the Council desires to proceed with adoption of the Plan ; NOW ,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COLD4CIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS : 1 The Boulder Creek and Jones Creek Watershed Forest Management Plan dated May 14 , 2012 and prepared by AKS Engineering &Forestry is hereby adopted as the Management Plan for the Jones Creek and Boulder Creek Watershed . £S-"ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Camas this day of December,2012.
