A RESOLUTION adopting certain limited amendments to
Tables 9 and 10 and Figure 10 of the Camas traffic impact fee
(TIF)update adopted pursuant to Resolution No.1240,said
amendments per Camas TIF Option #1 Memorandum prepared by
DKS Associates dated May 14,2012.
WHEREAS,the Council of the City of Camas has adopted Resolution No.1240 as an
update to the Camas traffic impact fees,known as the “Camas Traffic Impact Fee (TIF)Update”;
and
WHEREAS,the City Council has considered certain amendments to the update and the
recommendations set forth therein as relates to those projects eligible for traffic impact fee
monies and the calculation of the traffic impact fee,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS:
Section I
Pursuant to Chapter 3.88 of the Camas Municipal Code,the formula for calculating
traffic impact fees as set forth in Camas Municipal Code Section 3.88.060,component “C,”is
hereby set at the sum of $2,755.00 for the South TIF District and the sum of $6,866.00 for the
North TIF District.During the effective term of this Resolution No.1241,Section III of
Resolution 1240 is hereby superseded and replaced by the terms herein.
Section II
The Council hereby adopts as projects eligible for traffic impact fee monies and amends
Table 9 and Figure 10 of the Camas Traffic Impact Fee (TIF)Update,as adopted,with those
projects identified in Table 9-1 and depicted in Figure 10-1 respectively.
Section III
The Council hereby adopts the traffic impact fee rate calculation,and amends the Traffic
Impact Fee (TIF)Update with the figures as set forth in Table 10-1.
Section IV
This resolution shall automatically expire as of December 31,2013 unless extended by
affirmative action of the City Council.
Section V
This Resolution shall have full force and effect as of June 5,2012.

This memorandum summarizes a potential TIF rate option,as requested by the Camas City Council,to encourage
economic development.This TIF rate option differs from the TIF rate documented in the May 2012 Camas TIF
Update Report by funding a reduced project list,as shown in Table 9 -1(projects removed from the TIF eligible list are
shown with $0 in the "TIF Eligible Costs"column)and Figure 10 -1.
Table io~isummarizes the TIF Fee associated with Option #1,including the adjustment that would be made based
upon a 60%reduction factor and an index of 3.9%per year,as identified previously.
