A RESOLUTION adopting a designated camp area for Fallen
Leaf Lake Park pursuant to Camas Municipal Code 12.32.090.
WHEREAS,the City acquired the Fallen Leaf Lake Park area in 2011;and
WHEREAS,the City of Camas Parks and Recreation Commission has made a
recommendation to the Council for the placement of a park host at Fallen Leaf Lake Park,whose
duties would require overnight camping at the Park;and
WHEREAS,Camas Municipal Code 12.32.090 makes it otherwise unlawful to camp in
any city park,except in such areas as may be provided and designated for such purposes by the
City;and
WHEREAS,by this resolution,the City Council of the City of Camas intends to
designate an area within Fallen Leaf Lake Park for use solely for camping by the park host;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS:
Pursuant to Camas Municipal Code 12.32.090,there is hereby designated within Fallen
Leaf Lake Park an area to be utilized by the park host only for camping purposes,as more
particularly described in Exhibit A,attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
