A RESOLUTION prohibiting parking on the South side of SE
7th Avenue from Russell Street to Tampa Street and North side of
SE 7th Avenue from Tampa Street to Union Street.
WHEREAS,the Council finds that the width of SE 7th Avenue between Russell Street to
Union Street is 24 feet from curb to curb;and
WHEREAS,if parking is permitted on both sides of the street,there is insufficient room
for emergency and operations vehicles to use the roadway,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I
There shall be no parking permitted on the South side of SE 7th Avenue from Russell
Street to Tampa Street and North side of SE 7th Avenue from Tampa Street to Union Street.
SECTION II
The City Engineer is directed to erect appropriate signage giving notice of the parking
restriction.
ADOPTED at a regular Council meeting this 19th day of July,2010.
