A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAMAS,
WASHINGTON establishing a school speed zone for the Grass
Valley Elementary School,and revising the school speed zone for
Dorothy Fox Elementary School
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS:
I
There is hereby established a school speed zone for Grass Valley School on Northwest
38th Avenue from 700 feet west of Northwest Dahlia Drive to 300 feet west of Northwest Dahlia
Drive.The maximum speed limit when such school speed zone is in effect shall be 20 miles per
hour.
II
There is hereby established a school speed zone for Grass Valley School on Northwest
Grass Valley Drive from 150 feet north of Northwest Grass Valley Court to Northwest Fremont
Street.The maximum speed limit when such school speed zone is in effect shall be 20 miles per
hour.
Ill
There is hereby established a school speed zone for Grass Valley School on Northwest
Fremont Street from Northwest Grass Valley Drive to 100 feet south of Northwest Leadbetter
Parkway.The maximum speed limit when such school speed zone is in effect shall be 20 miles
per hour.
IV
The school speed zone for Dorothy Fox Elementary School on Northwest 28th Avenue is
revised to begin 250 feet west of Northwest Sierra Street and end 250 feet east of Northwest
Sierra Street.The maximum speed limit when such school speed zone is in effect shall be 20
miles per hour.
V
The school speed zone for Dorothy Fox Elementary School on Northwest Sierra Street is
revised to begin 150 feet north of Northwest 23rd Avenue and to end 250 feet north of Northwest
28th Avenue.The maximum speed limit when such school speed zone is in effect shall be 20
miles per hour.
VI
The Public Works Director is directed to arrange for the installation of standard school
speed limit signs identifying each of the aforedescribed school speed zones.
