A RESOLUTION rescinding Resolution No.1003,which
established an alignment for Northwest Hood Street.
WHEREAS,that section of Northwest Hood Street located between Northwest 16th Avenue
and Northwest 18lh Avenue is currently a two lane unimproved rural road with no shoulders,curbs,
gutters and sidewalks,and
WHEREAS,said section of Northwest Hood Street has two severe curves,and
WHEREAS,prospective developers of property adjacent to said section of Northwest Hood
Street requested the City to establish an alignment for Northwest Hood Street when it is improved to
City standards,and
WHEREAS,the Council conducted a public hearing and then adopted Resolution No.1003
which established an alignment for Northwest Hood Street,and
WHEREAS,the owners of property adjacent to Northwest Hood Street have requested that
the City vacate Resolution No.1003,and
WHEREAS on October 6,2008,the City Council held a public hearing on the request to
rescind Resolution No.1003,and
WHEREAS,the City Council has determined that there are no imminent plans to improve
said section of Northwest Hood Street and that it is not necessary to establish an alignment for
Northwest Hood Street at this time,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I
Resolution No.1003,which established an alignment for Northwest Hood Street,be and the
same is hereby rescinded .
