RES 1131RESOLUTION NO.IV51 A RESOLUTION setting the speed limit on public streets within the 2008 annexed areas. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS as follows: Section I The Council of the City of Camas finds,upon annexation of County roads, that clarification of the speed limits of said streets is necessary.The Council furthermore finds upon the basis of engineering and traffic investigation that the speed permitted by Clark County prior to annexation,whether by postings or state statute,is adequate for the public roadways within the newly annexed areas of Camas in 2008. Section II It is hereby declared that the speed limit for the following described street or sections thereof shall be as hereinafter set forth: Speed LimitNameofStreet SE Bybee Road from its intersection with SE 20th Street to the westerly city limits 40 mph SE 20th Street from its intersection with SE Bybee Road to 160 feet west of SE Armstrong Drive 40 mph NE Goodwin Road from Lacamas Creek Northeasterly to its intersection with NE 28th Street 50 mph NE 28th Street from its intersection with NE Goodwin Road to the easterly city limits 50 mph NE Ingle Road from its intersection with NE Goodwin Road to the northerly city limits 50 mph NE 232nd Avenue from the northerly city limits to its intersection with Leadbetter Road 40 mph Leadbetter Road from its intersection with NE 232nd Avenue to its intersection with State Route 500 40 mph Resolution No.\\T)\ Page Two Section III The Public Works Director is directed to erect signs giving notice of the speed limit on said streets. <f ]^— ADOPTED by the Council at a regular meeting this day of June 2008 .
