RES 1123U&>RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION granting a one (1%)percent accreditation
premium each month to the base pay of the Police Chief and Police
Captain.
WHEREAS,the Camas Police Department has obtained and maintained state
accreditation;and
WHEREAS,the collective bargaining agreements for the Police Officers and for the
Police Support Staff granted to all employees a one (1%)percent accreditation premium added
each month to their base pay as a reward for obtaining and maintaining state accreditation;and
WHEREAS,the Council desires to provide the same benefit to the Police Chief and the
Police Captain,who are not members of either bargaining unit,
NOW,THEREFORE,THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
I.
The Police Chief and the Police Captain shall receive a one (1%)percent accreditation
premium each month added to their base pay in recognition of the achievement of the Camas
Police Department in obtaining and maintaining state accreditation.Should the Police
Department lose their accreditation,then the accreditation premium shall be terminated.
