A RESOLUTION making modifications to the "Supplement to
the Non-Represented Employees Handbook Relating to Fire
Department Battalion Chiefs"by revising vacation accrual,sick
leave accrual,and maximum vacation accrual.
Section I
Battalion Chiefs with twenty (20)or more years of service who work as Platoon Duty
Employees shall receive 24 hours per month of vacation accrual.
Section II
Battalion Chiefs who work as Platoon Duty Employees shall receive 18 hours per month
of sick leave accrual up to a maximum accrual of 1248 hours.
Section III
All Battalion Chiefs shall be permitted to accrue up to two (2)years maximum vacation if
the employee is planning an extended vacation and the carryover has been approved by the Fire
Chief.
Section IV
The "Supplement to Non-Represented Employees Handbook Relating to Fire Department
Battalion Chiefs"is amended as provided in the preceding three Sections of this Resolution.
