A RESOLUTION establishing an ambulance transport fee for
out of district users.
WHEREAS,the City of Camas administers an emergency medical services program
pursuant to an Inter-Local Agreement with the City of Washougal and East County Fire and
Rescue;and
WHEREAS,the City of Camas also has mutual aid agreements with the City of
Vancouver and Clark County;and
WHEREAS,East County Fire and Rescue failed to pass its Emergency Medical Services
program levy;and
WHEREAS,the Council desires to establish an ambulance rate for out of district users,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
As used in this resolution,the term "out of district user"shah mean any resident or
business in the East County Fire and Rescue District,and any resident or business provided
emergency services under the mutual aid agreements with the City of Vancouver and Clark
County.
Section II
Effective January 1,2007,the ambulance transport fee for out of district users shah be
$1,007.50,plus $13.00 a mile from the transport pick up location to the hospital or other care
facility..
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS at a regular meeting this
day of January,2007.
