RES 1086RESOLUTION NO.1086
A RESOLUTION assigning current council members to
positions in the revised ward system.
WHEREAS,the City Council has heretofore adopted an ordinance whereby the City is
divided into three electoral wards rather than six electoral wards as was previously the case;and
WHEREAS,the new ordinance provides for one position in each ward and the council
At-Large position to serve terms expiring at the end of the year 2007;and
WHEREAS,the new ordinance provides for Position No.2 in each ward to serve a term
expiring in the year 2009;and
WHEREAS,the Council desires to designate which current council person occupies each
position in the revised ward system,now,therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS:
Section I
The City Council members are assigned to the following positions under the revised ward
system:
Ward No.1 -Position 1 -Helen Gerde
Ward No.1 -Position 2 -Melissa Smith
Ward No.2 -Position 1 -Linda Dietzman
Ward No.2 -Position 2 -Steve Hogan
Ward No.3 -Position 1 -Greg Anderson
Ward No.3 -Position 2 -Scott Higgins
At Large -Liz Pike
