A RESOLUTION declaring and establishing "Greg Biffle
Boulevard"in the City of Camas as an Honorary designation.
WHEREAS,Greg Biffle was raised in the City of Camas,graduating from Camas High
School in 1988;and
WHEREAS,Greg Biffle,having received drivers education classes at Camas High
School and having further honed his driving skills on the streets of the City of Camas,has
attained his dream of becoming a Nascar driver;and
WHEREAS,Greg Biffle has reached an elite status in Nascar,having won championships
in both the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series and the Nascar Busch Series;and
WHEREAS,Greg Biffle has attained a national following from his success in Nascar and
has thereby well represented the citizens of the City of Camas;and
WHEREAS,the City of Camas in 2006 is celebrating its Centennial,with a celebration
scheduled for July 17 -22,2006;and
WHEREAS,the City of Camas desires to recognize the achievements of Greg Biffle and
acknowledge the appreciation of the citizens of Camas hold for his participation in the Camas
Centennial Celebration.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I
NW Lake Road between NW Sierra Street and NW Walden Drive shall be and is hereby
declared to be designated as Greg Biffle Boulevard.
ADOPTED at a regular Council meeting this //day of July,2006.
