A RESOLUTION adopting by reference the Clark County
Conservation Acquisition Plan and the Salmon-Washougal and Lewis
Watershed Management Plans to provide the demand and need
justifications supporting the goals and objectives of the 2004
Comprehensive Plan and the 2000 Parks and Open Space
Comprehensive Plan.
WHEREAS,the City is making application to IAC for a conservation mitigation bank grant to
provide mitigation for future conservation impacts for Public Works projects,on the Capital Facility
Plan and private job related land uses within the UGB and Lacamas Drainage Basin;and
WHEREAS,the City is required to meet plan compliance per IAC guidelines to be eligible for
said grant;and
WEIEREAS,City staff and council were active in the planning and development of the Clark
County Conservation Acquisition Plan and the Salmon -Washougal and Lewis Watershed
Management Plans,as adopted by Clark County;and
WHEREAS,the City has adopted the 2004 Comprehensive Plan and the 2000 Parks and
Open Space Comprehensive Plan that provides the goals and objectives;and
WHEREAS,the Clark County Conservation Acquisition Plan and the Salmon-Washougal and
Lewis Watershed Management Plans provide the demand and needs analysis to support the grant
application;and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS
THAT:

The City Council hereby adopts by reference the Clark County Conservation Acquisition
Plan and the Salmon-Washougal and Lewis Watershed Management Plans to provide the
demand and need justification supporting the goals and objectives of the 2004 Comprehensive
Plan and the 2000 Parks and Open Space Comprehensive Plan.A-di*.*-*-
