RES 1038RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION prohibiting parking on the East side of
SW Utah Street from SW 6th Avenue to the extension of the north
property line of 706 SW Utah Street.
WHEREAS,the Council finds that the width of SW Utah Street between SW 6th Avenue
and State Route 14 is 24’from curb to curb;and
WHEREAS,if parking is permitted on both sides of the street,there is insufficient room
for emergency and operations vehicles to use the roadway,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS:
Section I
There shall be no parking permitted on the east side of SW Utah Street from SW 6th to the
extension of the north property line of 706 SW Utah Street.
Section II
The City Engineer is directed to erect appropriate signage giving notice of the parking
restriction.
ADOPTED by the Council at a regular meeting this 6th day of February 2006.
