RES 1036RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION adopting new salary ranges formembersofIAFF. WHEREAS,Section 2.64.020 of the Camas Municipal Code requires the Council to adopt a Resolution establishing a pay schedule showing salary ranges for officers and employees of the City,and WHEREAS,the City and IAFF have entered into a collective bargaining agreement,by the terms of which the salary ranges for members of IAFF need to be adjusted, NOW,THEREFORE,the Council of the City of Camas do Resolve as follows: Section I The schedules attached hereto as Exhibits"A"and "B",and by this reference incorporated herein,are HEREBY ADOPTED as the salary ranges for members of IAFF the year 2006. Section II This Resolution shall be effective retroactively to January 1,2006. ,200 j£. Flourly Rate Formula:12 X Monthly Salary 2496 Hours EXHIBIT B In addition to the annual cost of living increase,the wage scale for members of the unit will be adjusted on January 1,2006 to reflect the following salary differentials: Firefighter 100% Fire Engineer 105% Firefighter/Paramedic 110% Firefighter/Paramedic Engineer 115% Fire Captain/Deputy Fire Marshal 120% Fire Captain/Paramedic and EMS Captain 130% The Firefighter/Paramedic employee labor market differential phase-in will be equally split with 50%of the adjustment taking effect January 1,2006 and 50%taking effect January 1,2007.The adjustments for the other position differentials will take effect January 1,2006. 1
