A RESOLUTION setting a public hearing concerning the
proposed vacation of a portion of NW Artz Court.
WHEREAS,the City has received a request from Centex Homes to vacate a portion of
NW Artz Court,and
WHEREAS,the portion of NW Artz Court to be vacated is abutted by property owned by
Centex Homes,and
WHEREAS,the Council of the City of Camas desire to initiate vacation proceedings for
the street to be vacated,and
WHEREAS,it is necessary for the Council to fix a time and place for a public hearing to
be held on the proposed street vacation,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS:
Section I
The Council of the City of Camas does hereby initiate proceedings to vacate the
following described portion of NW Artz Court as described in Exhibit “A”,attached hereto and
by this reference incorporated herein.
Section II
A public hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation on the 19th day of December,
2005,at 7:00 p.m.in the Council Chambers of the City Hall.
Section III
The City Clerk is directed to give twenty (20)days notice of the hearing by posting
written notice in three of the most public places in the City of Camas,by posting a like notice on
the portion of the street sought to be vacated,and by mailing notice to the abutting property
owners at least fifteen (15)days prior to the date of the hearing.
