RES 999TL 1RESOLUTIONNO.
A RESOLUTION adopting salary ranges for members oftheWashingtonStateCouncilofCountyandCityEmployeesLocal307CC,for members of the Camas Police
Officers Association,for members of the International
Association of Firefighters #2444 ,for members of theOfficeandProfessionalEmployeesUnion,Local #11 ,
for members of the Camas Public Employees Association,for employees who are not represented by unions and to
establish hourly wages for seasonal employees.
Section 2.64.020 of the Camas Municipal Code requires theWHEREAS,
Council to adopt a resolution establishing a schedule showing salary
ranges for officers and employees of the City,and
WHEREAS ,employees of the Washington State Council of County and
City Employees Local 307CC AFL-CIO and the City have negotiated a labor
agreement establishing salary ranges for members of the union,and
WHEREAS ,members of the Camas Police Officers Association have
negotiated a labor agreement establishing salary ranges for members of
the association ,and
WHEREAS ,members of the International Association of Firefighters
#2444 have negotiated a labor agreement establishing salary ranges for
members of the union ,and
WHEREAS ,members of the Office and Professional Employees Union,
Local #11 have negotiated a labor agreement establishing salary ranges
for members of the union ,and
WHEREAS ,members of the Camas Public Employees Association have
negotiated a labor agreement establishing salary ranges for members of
the association,and
the council desires to revise the salary ranges for thoseWHEREAS,
employees of the City who are not represented by unions ,
WHEREAS ,the Pool/Activity Aide is paid by minimum wage ,which was
increased in the State of Washington to $7.35/hr and ,
WHEREAS ,the council desires to set the hourly wage for the
seasonal positions,
NOW ,THEREFORE ,THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section I
The schedules attached hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein is hereby adopted as the salary ranges for members of the
Washington State Council of County and City Employees ,AFL -CIO ,Local
307CC ,for the members of the Camas Police Officers Association,for the
members of the International Association of Firefighters #2444 ,for the
members of the Office and Professional Employees Union Local #11 ,for
the members of the Camas Public Employees Association,for those
employees of the City who are not represented by unions ,and for the
seasonal positions.
Section II
The salary range schedules adopted by this resolution shall take
effect as of January 1,2005.
PASSED by the Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this
January ,2005.
