RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION adopting new salary ranges for certain employees of the City of Camas by implementing cost of living adjustments,establishing new salary ranges for certain non- supervisory employees so as to make such salaries consistent with the recommendations of the Johnson and Associates Classification and Compensation Study (1999),and establishing a salary for the Pool/Activity Aide. WHEREAS,Section 2.64.020 of the Camas Municipal Code requires the Council to adopt a Resolution establishing a pay schedule showing salary ranges for officers and employees of the City,and WHEREAS,the City has entered into labor contracts with International Association of Firefighters #2444,Office of Professional Employees International Union Local #11,Camas Public Employees Association,Camas Police Officers Association,Washington State Council of County and City Employees Local 307CC AFL-CIO,and WHEREAS,the Council desires to revise the salary ranges for those employees of the City who are not represented by unions,and WHEREAS,the Pool/Activity Aide is paid by minimum wage,which is increased in the State of Washington to $7.16/hr.and, WHEREAS,it is the desire to align the salaries of non-represented employees with the salaries of the employee groups they supervise,consistent with the recommendation by the adopted Johnson and Associates Classification and Compensation Study (1999). NOW,THEREFORE,THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section I The schedules attached hereto as Exhibit “A”and by this references incorporated herein, is HEREBY ADOPTED as the salary ranges for members of IAFF #2444. Section II The schedules attached hereto as Exhibit “B”and by this reference incorporated herein,is HEREBY ADOPTED as the salary ranges for members of OPEIU Local #11. Section III The schedules attached hereto as Exhibit “C”and by this reference incorporated herein,is HEREBY ADOPTED as salary ranges for members of Camas Public Employees Association. Section IV The schedules attached hereto as Exhibit “D”and by this reference incorporated herein,is HEREBY ADOPTED as salary ranges for members of Camas Police Officers Association. Section V The schedules attached hereto as Exhibit “E”and by this reference incorporated herein,is HEREBY ADOPTED as salary ranges for members of AFSCME 307CC AFL-CIO. Section VI The schedules attached hereto as Exhibit “F”and by this reference incorporated herein,is HEREBY ADOPTED as salary ranges for members of non-represented employees Section VII The salary range schedules adopted by this resolution shall take effect as of January 1, 2004.
