RES 977 RESOLUTION NO. ?71
A RESOLUTION establishing a two hour time limit for parking
on the north side of North East 4" Avenue between North East
Franklin Street and North East Garfield Street,
WHEREAS , CMC 10,08 .0 10 authorizes the City Council from time to time to impose
parking time limits for designated streets and locations within the City, and
WHEREAS, the parking time limits for the north side of North East 4`h Avenue between
North East Garfield Street and North East Franklin Street is currently 72 hours, and
WHEREAS, the properties fronting the north side of Northeast 41 Avenue between North
East Garfield Street and North East Franklin Street are businesses that would be better served by
a two hour parking time limit,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council as follows :
Section I
The parking time limit for the north side of North East 41 Avenue between North East
Garfield Street and North East Franklin street shall be two hours from 8 : 00 a.m. to 6 :00 p .m. ,
Monday through Friday.
Section 11
The City Engineer is directed to erect signs giving notice of the new time limits.
Section III
This resolution shall be effective upon the erection of new signs by the City Engineer.
