A RESOLUTION designating the City Finance Director as the
City’s agent to receive any claim for damages made pursuant to
Chapter 4.96,Revised Code of Washington.
WHEREAS,the Washington Legislature has amended RCW 4.96.020 to require the
governing body of each local government entity to appoint an agent to receive claims for
damages made under Chapter 4.96,Revised Code of Washington,and
WHEREAS,the Council of the City of Camas desires to designate the City Finance
Director as agent for the City of Camas,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Camas as
follows:
Section I
The City Finance Director,whose address is 616 NE 4th Avenue,Camas,Washington,is
hereby designated as the agent for the City of Camas to receive any claim for damages made
under Chapter 4.96.020,Revised Code of Washington.
Section II
All claims for damages against the City of Camas shall be presented to the City Finance
Director within the applicable period of limitations within which an action must be commenced.
All claims shall be presented during normal business hours of the City of Camas.
Section III
The City Finance Director is directed to record a certified copy of this resolution with the
Auditor of Clark County.
