A RESOLUTION authorizing and approving that the Clark
County Auditor conduct the September 18,2001 Primary as a VoteByMailPrimary.
WHEREAS,conducting the September 18,2001 Primary as a Vote By Mail Primary will
assist the Auditor’s office in their efforts to maintain an accurate database of registered voters;
and
WHEREAS,previous Vote By Mail Primaries and,mail ballot elections have increased
voter turnout;and
WHEREAS,a Vote By Mail Primary will reduce the cost of conducting the primary;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS:
That the Primary to occur on September 18,2001 be conducted totally by mail ballot.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be filed with the Clark
County Auditor.
