A RESOLUTION establishing a fee for replacement of street
signs.
WHEREAS,the City maintains throughout the City posts with street identification and
traffic signal signs,and
WHEREAS,from time to time such posts and signs are damaged as the result of traffic
accidents and other causes,and
WHEREAS,the City desires to adopt a standardized charge for the replacement of street
posts and signs,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
Any person who damages a street identification or traffic sign or the post for such signs
shah reimburse the City for the cost of repair and/or replacement thereof.
Section II
The cost to be paid to the City shah be the actual cost of replacement materials plus a
$75.00 fee to pay for City labor,equipment,and overhead.
