A RESOLUTION amending the fees for obtaining public
records .
WHEREAS , by Resolution 608 , the City of Camas provided for compliance with the
provisions of Chapter 42 . 17 of the Revised Code of Washington relating to public records , and
WHEREAS , by Resolution 794 , the Council amended Section 8 of Resolution 608 by
revising the fees for copying of public records , and
WHEREAS , the Council further desires to revise the fees for copying of public records ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Camas as
follows :
Section I
Section 8 of Resolution 608 as amended by Resolution 794 is amended to provide as
follows :
No fee shall be charged for the inspection of public records . The City shall charge the
following fees for providing copies of public records and for the use of the City ' s copying
equipment .
a . State accident reports - $ 5 . 00
b . Police case reports under six ( 6 ) pages - $ 5 . 00
c . Police case reports over six ( 6 ) pages - $ 10 . 00
d . Immigration checks - $ 10 . 00
e . Visa/Clearance letters - $ 10 . 00
f. Fingerprint cards - $ 7 . 50 each card
g . Record checks / non - criminal justice agency including military services - $ 10 . 00
h . All other records - 15 cents per photocopied page , $ 2 . 75 per compact disk , and
$ 0 . 50 per diskette
i . Maps : 11 x 17 color map - $ 3 . 00

24 x 36 color original - $ 6 . 00
42 x 36 print - $ 6 . 00

Except as amended and revised herein , the Council hereby ratifies and reaffirms all
provisions of Resolution 608 .
