RES 866RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION setting a public hearing concerning the proposed
vacation of the original NW Parker Street alignment.
WEUEREAS,the City has received a request from WaferTech to vacate a portion of the original
NW Parker Street alignment,and
WHEREAS,construction of the Parker Street extension has been completed,and portions of the
original alignment for NW Parker Street were not utilized,and
WHEREAS,the Council of the City of Camas desires to initiate vacation proceedings for that
portion of the original alignment for NW Parker Street as hereinafter described,and
WHEREAS,it is necessary for the Council to fix a time and place for a public hearing to be held
on the proposed street vacation,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS
FOLLOWS:
Section I
The Council of the City of Camas does hereby initiate proceedings to vacate a portion of the
original alignment of NW Parker Street as described in Exhibit “A”attached hereto and by this reference
incorporated herein.
Section II
A public hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation of the aforedescribed portion of the
original alignment of NW Parker Street on the 8th day of February,1999,at 7:00 p.m.in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall .
Section III
The City Clerk is directed to give twenty (20)days notice of the hearing by posting written notice
in three of the most public places in the City of Camas,by posting a like notice on the portion of the
original right of way of NW Parker Street to be vacated,and by mailing notice to the abutting property
owners at least fifteen (15)days prior to the date of hearing.
ADOPTED at a regular session of the City Council of the City of Camas this _U.day of
January,1999.
