ORD 2370 ORDINANCE NO . 7
AN ORDINANCE adopting the " Zoning Map of the City of
Camas , March 8 , 2004 " as the revised zoning map for the City of
Camas .
WHEREAS , the City of Camas has recently undertaken an update to its Comprehensive
Plan in accordance with the goals and requirements of Chapter 36 . 70A , Revised Code of
Washington (the Growth Management Act) ; and
WHEREAS , zoning of real property within the City of Camas is required to be consistent
with the Comprehensive Plan ; and
WHEREAS , the Council desires to adopt a new zoning map to ensure consistency with the
updated Comprehensive Plan ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
There is hereby adopted as the official zoning map for the City of Camas that map entitled
" The Zoning Map of the City of Camas , March 8 , 2004 " .
Section II
Subsection 18 . 05 . 010 ( a) of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
18 . 05 . 010 - Zoning Maps Adopted
A . This title shall consist of the text titled the " City of Camas Zoning
Code " , and that certain map or book of maps identified by the approving
signatures of the mayor and the city clerk , and marked and designated as
" The Zoning Map of the City of Camas , March 8 , 2004 " , which map or
book of maps shall be placed on file in the offices of the city clerk , county
auditor , and other city departments . This title , and each and all of its terms
and map details , is to be interpreted in light of the context of the book of
maps in relationship to the Comprehensive Plan . In any conflict between
the maps and the text of this code , the text shall prevail .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
