ORD 2357 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 136 , 000 . 00 from the
Sanitary Fund to pay for expenses in excess of
budgeted amounts , and amending Ordinance No . 2325
and the budget for the year 2003 to provide for such
expenditures .
WHEREAS , overtime labor for the collection crew and personal benefits have been higher
than budgeted , and
WHEREAS , unbudgeted expenses were incurred from the acquisition of small tools , yard
debris carts , and camera equipment for the automated garbage car , and
WHEREAS , the utility rate study was expanded to include a study of sanitary rates which
had not been budgeted , and
V HEREAS , tipping fees were budgeted at $ 30 , 000 . 00 a month and are being incurred at
the rate of approximately $ 38 , 000 . 00 a month , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds within the Sanitary Fund to pay for
such expenditures , now, therefore ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 136 . 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the general fund and is allocated as
follows :

Ordinance No . 2325 and the budget for the year 2003 are hereby amended to provide for
the afore stated expenditures .

Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
