AN ORDINANCE amending Camas Municipal Code Section
10 . 40 . 160 concerning the designation of certain violations as
misdemeanors .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
The Camas Municipal Code Section 10 . 40 . 160 is hereby amended to provide as follows :
10 . 40 . 160 - Penalty - Violation of Sections 10 . 40 . 020 , 10 . 40 . 050 , 10 . 400060 , 10 . 40 . 110 and
10 . 40 . 157 , and 10 . 40 . 135D shall constitute a misdemeanor , and upon conviction
thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $ 1 , 000 . 00 or by imprisonment
for a period not to exceed 90 days , or by both such fine and imprisonment . All
other violations of the regulations of this chapter shall constitute a civil infraction
punishable by a fine of not more than $ 250 . 00 .
Section II
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
