ORD 2321 ORDINANCE NO
AN ORDINANCE amending Section 3 . 16 . 010 of the Camas
Municipal Code by revising the time to commence foreclosure
proceedings for delinquent Local Improvement District assessments .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
Section 3 . 16 . 010 of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
3 . 16 . 010 - Imblementation When_ - Notice _R_eguired . If on the first day of January in any
year , two installments of any local improvement assessment are delinquent , or if the final
installment thereof has been delinquent for more than one year , the City shall proceed with
the foreclosure of the delinquent assessment or delinquent assessments thereof by
proceedings brought in its own name in the Superior Court of Clark County . The
proceedings shall be commenced on or before December 31St of that year , but not before
the City Treasurer has first given thirty ( 30 ) days notice in the manner and to those persons
as required by state statute .
Section II
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
