ORD 2311 ORDINANCE NO ,
AN ORDINANCE amending Subsections 13 , 44 . 020 ( c ) and
( e ) of the Camas Municipal Code -by revising the notification
procedures for the termination of water service due to nonpayment
of water and sewer service charges , and revising the amount of the
disconnection charge .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
Section 13 . 44 . 020 ( c ) of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
1344 . 020 - Nonbavment Shut Off Hearing Disconnection Fees
G . Tn the event the charges are not paid , or a hearing requested accompanied. with a
tender of the amount owing within ten days of the date of the notice , then the City
shall cause to be posted on the property , a written not1cf e setting forth the amount
of delinquent charges and informing the `occupant that eater service will be
terminated to the premises if the delinquent charges are not paid within 48 hours. .
There shall be included in the delinquent charges a $ 10 . 00 fee for posting the
notice on the property . If the delinquent charges are not paid within 48 hours of
the posting of such notice , then the City shall proceed to disconnect the water
service to the subject premises .
Section II
Section . 13 , 44 . 020 ( e ) of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
