AN ORDINANCE amending Table 18 . 554 of the Camas
Municipal Code by adding home occupations to the responsibilities
of the City Planner , amending Section 18 . 55 . 040 ( c ) of the Camas
Municipal Code by revising the authority of the Director of
Planning or the Director of Public Works to issue administrative
approvals under the zoning code , amending Section 18 . 55 . 190 ( a) of
the Camas Municipal Code by revising the authority of the Director
to make administrative approvals without notice , and amending
Section 18 . 55 . 200 ( a) by revising the authority of the Director to
issue administrative approval subject to notice .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
Table 18 . 554 of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to add home occupations under
the responsibilities of the City Planner .
Section II
Sections 18 . 55 . 040 ( c ) and ( d) are amended to provide as follows :
Co Administrative Approvals : The Director of Planning or the Director of Public
Works or their Designees may approve , approve with conditions or deny the
following without notice .
1 . Certificate of occupancy ;
2 . Minor amendments or modifications to approve developments or permits .
Minor amendments are those which may affect the precise dimensions or
location of buildings , accessory structures and driveways , but do not affect
( i ) overall prof ect character , ( ii ) increase the number of lots , dwelling units ,
or density , ( iii ) decrease the quality or amount of open space , or ( iv) vary
from specified dimensional standards of this Title .
3 . Right - of-- way use ;
4 . Residential or commercial building permits ;
5 . Lot line adjustment ;
6 . Development code interpretations ;
7 . Temporary use permit ;
8 . Design review .
D . The Director may grant preliminary approval or approval with conditions , or may
deny the following actions subject to the notice and appeal requirements of this
section :
1 . Clearing and grading permit .
2 . Short plat .
3 . Threshold and final determinations ( SEPA) .
4 . Type B - Home Occupations .
Section III
Section 18 . 55 . 190 ( a) of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
A . The Director may approve , approve with conditions , or deny the following without
notice :
1 . Lot line adjustments ;
2 . Extension of time for approval ;

3 . Minor amendments or modifications to approved developments or permits .

deny the following actions subject to the notice and appeal requirements of this
section :
1 . Short plats ;
2 . Clearing and grading permit ;
3 . Threshold and final environmental determinations ;
4 . Design review ;
5 . Type B - Home Occupations .
Section V
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .

On July 23 , 2001 , the Camas City Council passed Ordinance No . 2298 , which amended
Table 18 . 554 of the Camas Municipal Code by adding home occupations to the responsibi litcs
of the City Planner , and amended Sections 18 . 55 . 040 ( c ) , 18 . 55 . 190 ( a) and 18 . 55 . 200 ( a) of the
Camas Municipal Code by revising the authority of the Director to issue administrative approvals
under the zoning code . A full copy of the text of the ordinance will be mailed to anybody ,upon
