ORD 2275 ORDINANCE NO . 2 2 7 5
AN ORDINANCE creating a library construction fund , appropriating
$ 675 , 000 . 00 from the Library Construction Fund to pay for architect services for
the design and remodel of the library , and amending the budget for the year 2000
to provide for such expenditure .
WHEREAS , the City desires to remodel and expand the library building , and
WHEREAS , the voters of the City of Camas have approved a general obligation bond issue for the
library remodel project , and
WHEREAS , the council desires to create a separate library construction fund for the library remodel
project , and
WHEREAS , the City has entered into a contract for architectural services in conjunction with the
library remodel project and needs to appropriate money to pay for such architectural services ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS
FOLLOWS :
Section 1
There is hereby created a new fund called the Library Construction Fund . The proceeds from the
sale of general obligation bond approved by the voters for the library remodel project shall be deposited to
the Library Construction Fund .
Section 2
The sum of $ 675 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the Library Construction Fund to pay for
architect services , and is allocated as follows :

Section 3
Ordinance No . 2247 and the budget for the City of Camas for the year 2000 are amended to provide
for the aforestated expenditure .
Section 4
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication according
to law .
