ORD 2260 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE transferring $ 265 , 000 . 00 from the general
fund to the street fund , appropriating $ 265 , 000 . 00 from the street
fund to pay for certain street improvements that were not provided
for in the 2000 budget , and amending the budget for the year 2000
to provide for such expenditures .
WHEREAS , the City desires to undertake certain street improvements consisting of a
traffic signal modification at Fourth Avenue and Adams Street with an estimated cost of
$ 35 000000 , replacement of all street lighting downtown with an estimated cost of $ 75 , 000 . 00 ,
installation of lighting along Pacific Rim Boulevard with an estimated cost of $ 75 , 000 . 00 ,
installation of sidewalks on NW 38th Avenue with an estimated cost of $ 30 , 000 . 00 , and
additional street overlays with an estimated cost of $ 50 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the general fund to pay for such
expenditures ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 265 , 000 . 00 is hereby transferred from the general fund to the street fund .
Section II
The sum of $ 265 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the street fund to pay for certain
street improvements as identified above , and is allocated as follows :

according to law .
