ORD 2475 ORDINANCE NO ,
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 620 , 000 . 00 from the Street Fund
to pay for repairs to Forest Home Road , and amending the Budget for
2006 to provide for such expenditure .
WHEREAS , Forest Home Road was closed due to a land and mud slide , and
WHEREAS , before the road could be re - opened , the City was required to install drainage
adjacent to the roadside and to undertake other stabilization measures , and
WHEREAS , the cost of said repairs was $ 620 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , the appropriation will be funded with a $ 535 , 774 . 00 Federal Grant received via
the Washington State Department of Transportation , and
WHEREAS , the remainder of the expense will be funded through un - appropriated monies in
the Street Fund ,
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS
AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
There is hereby appropriated from the Street Fund the sum of $ 620 , 000 . 00 , to be allocated as
follows :

Section II
Ordinance No . 2431 and the Budget for the year 2006 are amended to provide for the
aforestated expenditure .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
