AN ORDINANCE amending Section 2 . 04 . 010 of the Camas
Municipal Code by providing Tor two persons to be elected from
each Fward , and further providing for staggered terms for the
positions in each ward .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
Section 2 . 04 . 010 of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
2 . 04 . 010 Election
There shall be elected as members of the City Council , two persons from
each ward , and one person At � Large ; provided however , elections to positions to the
City Council shall be by vote from the City At - Large . In each ward , the positions
shall be denominated as Position No . 1 and Position No . 2 . Position No . 1 in each
ward and the AtmLarge position shall serve terms expiring at the end of 2007 and
every four years thereafter . Position No . 2 in each ward shall serve a term expiring at
the end of 2009 , and every four years thereafter .
Section II
This ordinance shall tape force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
