AN ORDINANCE appropriating $39,000.00 from the Cemetery
Fund to pay for labor and benefit costs in excess of budgeted amounts,
to pay for the cost of supplies in excess of budgeted amounts, and to
pay for liability and property insurance in excess of the budget
amounts.
WHEREAS, the City assumed operation of the Camas Cemetery on January 1 , 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City's budget provided for estimated labor costs, estimated supply costs, and
the cost of liability and property insurance for the cemetery; and
WHEREAS, the labor and benefit costs, supply costs, and cast of liability and property
insurance have exceeded budgeted estimates; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient unallocated funds in the Cemetery Fund to pay for such
costs,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $39,000. 00 is hereby appropriated from the Cemetery Fund and allocated as
follows :

Section II
Ordinance No. 2469, and the Budget for the year 2007 are amended to provide for the
aforestated expenditures.
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five (5) days from and after its publication
according to law.
