ORD 2478 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 94 , 000 . 00 from the Emergency
Management Service Fund to pay for refurbishing the City ' s 1997
Ford ambulance , and amending the budget for 2007 to provide for
such expenditure .
WHEREAS , due to high usage , aging , and high mileage , the City ' s 1997 Ford Ambulance
needs to be replaced or refurbished , and
WHEREAS , the cost of refurbishing the ambulance is substantially less than the cost of
replacement, and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds within the Emergency Management
Service Fund to pay for the estimated cost of refurbishment in the amount of the $ 94 , 000 . 00 .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS
AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
There is hereby appropriated from the Emergency Management Service Fund the sum of
$ 94 , 000 . 00 , to be allocated as follows :

Section II
Ordinance No . 2469 and the Budget for the year 2007 are amended to provide for the
aforestated expenditure .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
