ORD 2237 ORDINANCE NO . Z231
AN ORDINANCE repealing Ordinance 2147 , which provided
for the imposition of fees for various fire prevention activities .
WHEREAS , the Council is heretofore adopted Ordinance No . 2147 which provided for
the imposition of fees for certain fire prevention activities , and
WHEREAS , the council has recently amended Chapter 15 . 16 of the Camas Municipal
Code , which adopted the Uniform Fire Code , to include fee imposition authority for fire
prevention activities , thus rendering Ordinance 2147 duplicative , now, therefore ,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
Ordinance No . 2147 is hereby repealed .
Section II
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
