ORD 2236 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE repealing Chapter 8 . 32 of the Camas
Municipal Code , which regulated the sale and use of fireworks .
WHEREAS , the Council has recently adopted the 1997 Edition of the Uniform Fire
Code , and
WHEREAS , the fire code contains provisions for the regulation of the sale , use , storage ,
handling , transportation , and permitting of fireworks thus rendering Chapter 8 . 32 duplicative ,
now , therefore ,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
Chapter 8 . 32 of the Camas Municipal Code is repealed .
Section II
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
