ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 158 , 000 . 00 from the Sanitary
Service Fund to pay for costs incurred in excess of budgeted
amounts due to implementation on operation of the new automated
garbage collection system .
WHEREAS , the City implemented an automated garbage collection system in the fiscal
year 1999 , and
WHEREAS , the costs of implementing and operating the new automated garbage
collection system exceeded the budgeted amounts , and
WHEREAS , disposal fees and recycling contractor fees were underestimated in the 1999
budget , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the Sanitary Service Fund to pay
for such expenditures ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 158 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Service Fund to pay for
expenses in excess of budgeted amounts , and is allocated as follows :

according to law .
