ORD 2227 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE amending Section 3 . 04 of the Camas
Municipal Code , by authorizing the use of warrants for the payment
of city obligations .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
Section 3 . 04 . 010 of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
3 . 04 . 010 - Warrants to Pay Bills Authorized by the City Council . The City Clerk
may draw warrants on the City Treasurer for the payment of all bills allowed by the
Council , and then shall present the warrants to the City Treasurer . If there are
sufficient funds to meet the warrants , the City Treasurer , or his authorized
designee , shall sign the warrants for payment and then deliver the warrants to the
person entitled thereto .
Section II
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
