AN ORDINANCE amending Section 13 . 3 6 . 03 0 , of the Camas
Municipal Code , by revising the water and sewer rate for combined
residential and commercial uses , and amending Section 13 . 3 6 . 070 ,
by revising the utility charges for government services .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
Section 13 . 36 . 030 of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
13 . 3 6 . 03 0 - Combination of Residential and Commercial Classes . Where a single
service is provided to a combination of residential and commercial classes , the
residential rate shall be charged for all water service . The charge for sewer service
shall consist of one residential sewer charge plus commercial sewer consumption .
Commercial sewer consumption shall be equal to the consumption of water used .
Section II
Section 13 . 36 . 070 of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
13 . 36 . 070 - Utility Charge Governmental Services . This schedule applies to
water and sewer utilities used by the following designated governmental services :
a . Rental of all fire hydrants within the city shall be $ 900 . 00 per month .
b . Rental of fire hydrants outside the limits of the city shall be $ 10 . 00 per
month per hydrant .
c . All other utility services for the city shall be charged at the regular meter
rate .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
