ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE amending Chapter 12 . 12 of
the Camas Municipal Code to require compliance
with encroachment permit procedures prior to the
issuance of a building permit or certificate of
occupancy .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
There is hereby added to Chapter 12 . 12 of the Camas Municipal Code a new section to
provide as follows :
12 . 12 . 025 - Building Permit Issuance - Prior to the issuance of any building permit
authorized under Section 15 . 04 . 060C , the building official shall certify that the applicant has
if required pursuant to Section 12 . 12 . 010 .
obtained a valid encroachment permit,
Section II
There is hereby added to Section 12 . 12 . 080 of the Camas Municipal Code a new
subsection to provide as follows .
12 . 12 . 080 - Inspection .
C . Prior to the issuance of any certificate of occupancy authorized pursuant to
Section 15 . 04 . 060E , the building official shall certify that the applicant has complied with the
provisions of this section 12 . 12 . 080 .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
