ORD 2199 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 520 , 000 . 00 from the Growth
Management Fund to pay for costs in excess of budgeted amounts
for the acquisition of two parcels of real property , and amending
the Budget for the Year 1999 to provide for such expenditures .
WHEREAS , the City budgeted in 1999 for the acquisition of a fire station site in the
Grass Valley area of. Camas and for the acquisition of open space adjacent to Fallen Leaf Lake ,
and
WHEREAS , the Grass Valley Fire Station purchase exceeded the budgeted amount by
$ 135 , 000 , and
WHEREAS , the Fallen Leaf Lake purchase exceeded the budgeted amount by
$ 385 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , a portion of the Fallen Leaf Lake purchase will be funded by Conservation
Futures grant from Clark County , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the Growth Management Fund
to pay for such expenditures ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 520 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the Growth Management Fund to
pay for expenses in excess of the budgeted amount in the acquisition of two parcels of real
property , and is allocated as follows :

Section II
Ordinance No . 2185 and the Budget for the City of Camas for the Year 1999 are amended
to provide for the aforestated expenditure .

according to law .
