AN ORDINANCE amending Section 13 . 68 . 020 ( a) of the Camas
Municipal Code by requiring persons improperly discharging storm
water into the sanitary sewer system to take corrective action
within ninety ( 90 ) days of notification of such violation by the
Public Works Director .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
Section 13 . 68 . 020 ( a) of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
13 . 68 . 020 Use Provisions : (a) No person shall discharge or cause
to be discharged any storm water , surface water , ground water , roof
runoff, subsurface drainage , cooling water or unpolluted industrial
process waters to any sanitary sewer . Any person in violation of
this subsection shall have ninety ( 90 ) days to take appropriate
corrective action following notification of such violation by the
Public Works Director . The Public Works Director , for good
cause , may extend such time period for remedial action an
additional ninety ( 90 ) days .
Section II
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
