ORDINANCE N
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 34 , 000 . 00 from the General
Fund to pay for a salary analysis of city employee positions .
WHEREAS , the City Council desires to undertake a salary analysis of city employee
positions , and
WHEREAS , the City has negotiated with the personnel firm of Johnson and Associates to
undertake such work , and
WHEREAS , the anticipated expense for a salary study is $ 34 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the General Fund to pay for such
expenditure ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
The sum of $ 34 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to pay for a salary
study of city employee positions , and is allocated as follows :

Section II
Ordinance No . 2185 and the Budget for the City of Camas for the Year 1999 are amended
to provide for the aforestated expenditure .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
