AN ORDINANCE amending Section 18 . 76 . 180 of
the Camas Municipal Code by revising the notice
requirements for variances .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
Section 18 . 76 . 180 of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
18076o 180 - Hearing - Notice
When an application or appeal has been filed in proper form , with the required
data, and payment of fee , the building department shall immediately place said
application or appeal upon the calendar for hearing and cause notices stating the
time , place and object of the hearing to be served . The notice shall be served
personally or by mail at least ten days prior to the date of such hearing upon the
applicant or appellant , the building inspector , and the owners of record within two
properties from and across the street of the subject parcel . The notices , if by mail ,
shall be addressed to the respective property owners at the addresses listed in the
abstract records . Failure to send the notices by mail to every property owner shall
not invalidate any proceedings of the board .
Section II
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
