ORD 2152 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE amending Section 9 . 20 . 090 by
authorizing certain establishments to utilize punch -
boards and pull - tabs as a commercial stimulant , and
revising the gambling tax for bona fide charitable or
nonprofit organizations .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
There is hereby added to Section 9 . 20 . 090 a new subsection to provide as follows :
5 . 28 . 020 - Certain Gambling Activities Authorized .

C . Any person , association or organization operating an established business
primarily engaged in the selling of food or drink for consumption on premises is
authorized to utilize punchboards and pull -tabs as a commercial stimulate to such
business when licensed , conducted and operated pursuant to the provisions of
Chapter 9 . 46 , Revised Code of Washington .
Section II
Subsection 9 . 20 . 095 (A) is amended to provide as follows :
9 . 20 . 095 - Taxation of Punchboards and Pull - tabs .
A . Except for bona fide charitable or nonprofit organizations , there is levied upon
and shall be collected from and paid as provided in this section , by every person ,
association and organization utilizing punchboards and pull -tabs games as
authorized hereunder , a tax of five ( 5 % ) percent of the gross receipts from such
punchboards and pull --tabs .
There is levied upon and shall be collected from every bona fide charitable or
nonprofit organization utilizing punchboards and pull - tabs a tax of ten ( 10 % )
percent of the gross proceeds less the amount awarded in cash or merchandise
prizes .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
