ORD 2151 ORDINANCE NO . 6 ,
AN ORDINANCE altering the seal of the City of Camas .
I
The seal of the City of Camas is hereby altered to be a seal having in the
inner circle a design portraying Mt . Hood , and the Columbia River in the
background , and evergreen trees in the foreground , and on the outer circle
the words "CITY OF CAMAS , WASHINGTON ".

That the afore described seal as altered be and is hereby adopted as the
corporate seal of the City of Camas , and that the same shall be used to
authenticate all acts of this corporation .
III
The City Clerk shall have custody of the corporate seal of the City of
Camas , and by such official affixed to all acts requiring to be authenticated .
IV
This ordinance shall be in force and effective five ( 5 ) days after its
publication according to law .
PASSED by the Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this day of

Last night I was invited to speak at the UCAN meeting
regarding the city seal issue . LO
As a result a motion was made to have the UCAN chairman Phil
Harder contact the city to see if more time could be granted
for consideration of the seal .
Tim Dickerson was present at the meeting and he stated that
it was planned to begin putting the seal into effect today by
ordering . ( Apparently by ordering new supplies with this
seal on it . )
The purpose of this memo is to make you aware of what took
place last night .
I plan . to deliver this memo shortly after 8 a . m .
